• Hello, my name is _____________, a ( citizen/parent/ etc.) who believes a sound public education is a fundamental building block of our society.
• I'm calling to request you, as a county commissioner, work with the Cabarrus county board of education to find a way to fund our schools that does not impact the quality of education, and the experiences, our students receive.
• Our children deserve the absolute best education we can provide addressing the whole child. It is your job as county commissioner to make sure schools are fully funded.

• I'm calling to formally request you, the Cabarrus county board of education, work with the Cabarrus county commissioners to come up with a budget that will fund our schools without cutting necessary student experiences.
• Should cuts need to be made, they should occur in areas that do not immediately impact student outcomes. Arts, athletics and educational extracurricular events are necessary. De-funding programs that have been so successful is not an acceptable cut.
